Since 2004 happytails has created eco-friendly spa, grooming and wellness products for the modern dog. Both partners came from the human cosmetic and supplement industries and saw a need for pet products that were manufactured to the same high standards as human products utilizing the same cutting edge ingredients. Carbon Offset

We are all responsible for climate change and we all must be part of the solution. Carbonfund.org makes it simple for anyone, or any organization, to reduce and offset their carbon emissions. We simply calculate our carbon emissions (after reducing them as much as we can) and then calculate the impact we are having on the environment. We then make a contribution to Carbonfund.org that is commensurate with that level of emission.

So besides reducing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, carbon offsets drive down the cost of clean energy, hastening the transformation to a clean energy future.

Canine Companions for Independence

We are very proud to donate a portion of our profits to Canine Companions for Independence. CCI is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs. Headquartered in Santa Rosa, CA, CCI is the country's largest non-profit provider of assistance dogs. CCI is recognized worldwide for the excellence of its dogs, and the quality and longevity of the matches it makes between dogs and people. The result is a life full of increased independence and loving companionship.

Recycled Bottles

PCR is a blend of reclaimed natural HDPE (primarily from milk and water containers) and virgin resin. The recycled material is cleaned, ground and recompounded into uniform pellets along with prime virgin material.

It goes without saying that by recycling we are reducing the amount of waste in landfills and being more respectful of our natural resources however there are other consequences; Recycling creates 6 times as many jobs as landfilling. Because most plastic is recycled locally we're reducing our dependance on imported oil in a variety of ways; the oil from which the bottle is made, the oil used to ship the oil to this country the energy used to convert the oil to plastic and the oil used to ship the raw material to our part of the country to be made into bottles.

Currently only about 3.5% of all plastic generated is recycled compared to 34% of paper, we're doing our part to improve that number.

All of our products and components are made in the USA. Most of them are made right here in Southern California to minimize transportation-related impact. Our products are manufactured only at FDA approved labs that adhere to strict quality standards and are regularly inspected.

Our herbs are ethically and organically grown by a select group of independent farmers whose concerns for the environment meet our ethical standards and quality control

Instructions: After bathing, while your dog is still wet slather on a little Fur Butter making sure that you massage it into the skin. Allow the formula to soak in for a few minutes (we recommend giving your best friend a little massage to keep him calm and happy) and then rinse off thoroughly.

Shea Butter Improves the healing process, improves moisture retention, soothes and protects the skin from environmental damage; Rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins A & E
Rosemary Extract Natural cleanser. Conditions, tones and strengthens the coat.
Calendula Extract Herb that brings quick, soothing relief to pain and swelling from insect bites and minor cuts while lending wound-healing antimicrobial properties
Comfrey Extract Herb that treats flea and other insect bites, burns, skin ulcerations, abrasions and just about any other irritation.
Chamomile Extract Flower extract used for anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antibacterial, and mild sedative qualities.
Burdock Extract Helps treat flaky or inflammatory skin disorders such as psoriasis or eczema.
Aloe Extract Brings immediate cooling relief to fleabites and helps reduce itching. Aloe contains minerals, proteins and enzymes that help soften the coat and soothe skin
Boswellia Serrata Extract Also known as Indian Frankincense and Soothex, reduces inflammations, reddening and is perfect for dogs with sensitive skin.
Dipropylene Glycol Used to extract aromatics and fragrances from their natural plant bases.
Cetrimonium Chloride A coconut based emulsifier and anti-static agent that makes fur less prone to static electricity buildup.
Stearalkonium Chloride A plant-based ingredient, it reduces static electricity by neutralizing electrical charges on hair, and is a good conditioning agent.
Vitamin A (Retinyl Palmitate) Moisturizer and anti-keratizing agent.
Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) A white, crystalline, water-soluble substance found in citrus fruits and green vegetables. It is used as a natural preservative in Fur Butter.
Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate) Anti-oxidant, UV Protector and skin moisturizer
Peppermint Oil Refreshes, soothes and invigorates the skin. Ceteareth 20 emulsifier and thickener that maintains bond between essential oils and water in the product.
Sodium Benzoate An FDA-approved, polyunsaturated fat that used to inhibit microbial growth.
Potassium Sorbate A polyunsaturated fatty acid salt used to inhibit growth of microbes and mold.
